Heath Hunter - Abigail
This Abigail's story of what happens as Heath Hunter.
She writes "On Saturday 6th January [2007] me and my mum went to Heath Hunters. Heath Hunters is a nature discovery club at Tiptree Heath. We do things like pond dipping and making things from nature.
Anyway, this week we went tracking down foot prints from animals. We were looking for really clear foot prints, when we found them we got a strip of card and pushed it down around the foot print. Next we filled the print with plaster and covered it.
We then went for a walk and followed a trail while we waited for the plaster to dry. After that we went back to the footprints and picked the print up gently from the mud. My cast was a dog print and it came out very well. When I got home I scrubbed the print and painted it.
I really enjoyed my day at the heath and hope to go next time"
