Coronavirus (COVID-19) Announcement
Tiptree Heath Health Walks
The Ramblers Walking for Health organization, who have overall management of the walks scheme, have decided to suspend all health walk activities until May 31st at the earliest.
Tiptree Heath Wildlife Walks
Essex Wildlife Trust has announced that events at all of its Reserves will no longer take place until at least the end of June. This includes our programme of Tiptree Heath Wildlife Walks which has been circulated in some areas. The specific events cancelled before the end of June are:
The Dawn Chorus walk and breakfast on April 29th
The Evening Bird Walk on May 13th
The History Walk on June 24th
Tiptree Heath remains open for walkers to use, but we ask that everyone who visits any Reserve respects the Public Health guidelines by keeping a reasonable distance from others.
Across the county, all EWT Nature Discovery Centres (formerly known as Visitor Centres) are closed. For Abberton, Abbotts Hall and Hanningfield, their outdoor Reserves are also closed, but otherwise all normally accessible EWT sites are still open at present.

We hope you are able to stay safe
Best wishes from the Warden and Trustees at Tiptree Heath
